PTO Operation

I have a Kubota L-2800DT tractor and just bought a rear mount snowblower. The dealer I purchased tractor from told me that this tractor had a live PTO but every time I push in the clutch the PTO stops. Is there something that I need to turn on to keep the PTO live regardless if the clutch is in or not?
